Big tech standards. Small island service.

We know how the big guys build it — we do that for the little guys.

How we work

A prime contractor, not a handyman.

Rapid Deploy finds the jobs and manages them. Small tower builds go to partner rigging crews — people I've worked rope with and trust. Panel-tied electrical work goes to hired licensed electricians. I scope it, schedule it, and stand behind it, the way a foreman stands behind a build.

We run two commercial lanes: small tower builds — the sub-$1M builds carriers skip, for WISPs, remote lodges, First Nations, campgrounds and industrial sites — and remote-site power and communications infrastructure, the solar-plus-battery-plus-backhaul systems that keep off-grid operations online.

Residential work — signal surveys, boosters, Starlink installs — is the foot in the door. Same standards, smaller scale. See every service →

Carriers spend about a million dollars building one cell site. Nobody's spending that in Bamfield or on Cortes Island. The builds too small for the big guys — that's exactly where I work.

Services

Every tech job, small scale.

Small Tower Construction

Prime-contracted tower builds for WISPs, lodges, campgrounds and industrial sites. Site survey to commissioning, with partner crews.

Small tower construction →

Tower Maintenance

Inspections, guy-wire tensioning, antenna and feedline swaps, grounding checks — and salt-air corrosion control for the coast.

Tower maintenance →

Tower Decommissioning

Safe takedown of old or abandoned towers. Structural assessment first, salvage where it pays, site left clean.

Tower decommissioning →

Remote Site Power

Solar + battery + generator hybrids that keep comms sites alive off-grid. Licensed electricians handle the panel-tied work.

Remote site power →

Commercial Connectivity

Guest WiFi and operations networks for lodges, marinas and campgrounds. Backhaul via tower or Starlink.

Commercial connectivity →

Starlink Installation

Proper mounts, clean cable routing, and honest advice about tree obstruction. Residential and commercial.

Starlink installation →

Cell Signal Survey

The $89 on-site survey. Real readings, a written report, and an honest answer: booster, Starlink, or nothing will fix it.

Cell signal survey →

Signal Booster Installation

ISED-certified, RSS-131 compliant installs only. A booster can't create signal where none exists — we tell you that up front.

Booster installation →

Home Battery Backup

Storm-outage backup for the Island and Gulf Islands. Keep comms, the fridge and heat controls running when the grid drops.

Home battery backup →

Off-Grid Battery Banks

LiFePO4 banks for cabins and remote sites — Canadian-made batteries, honest sizing, and the runtime math before you spend a dollar.

Why won’t my carrier fix my dead zone?

A full carrier cell-site build costs about $1M CAD, and the economics only work with dense subscriber counts. Nobody’s spending that in Bamfield or on Cortes Island. The builds too small for the big guys — that’s exactly where I work.

Common questions

What does the $89 signal survey include?

Real on-site dBm readings, a written report, and an honest recommendation: booster, Starlink, or nothing. It’s credited toward an install booked within 30 days.

Are your booster installs legal in Canada?

Yes — we install ISED-certified, RSS-131 compliant equipment only. Grey-market uncertified boosters are illegal to operate and can interfere with carrier networks.

Who is Rapid Deploy?

A prime contractor run by Jonathan Nikkhah — 10 years in wireless, the towers your signal comes from. Small builds go to partner rigging crews; panel-tied electrical goes to licensed electricians. One point of contact, one schedule.

Tower Days

Watch the work.

Ten years of climbing means there's footage — tower builds, helicopter lifts, remote sites, the view from 300 feet up. Tower Days is the archive: real work, no staged anything.

New lanes

Two jobs kept asking for. Now they're services.

Yacht & marine Starlink

Discovery Islands, Desolation Sound — the yachts are out there with nothing. Dish mounting that survives Johnstone Strait, 12V power integration, at-anchor and underway setups. Discreet, turnkey, quoted per vessel.

Marine Starlink installs →

Cabin monitoring

Frozen pipes are a five-figure surprise. Temperature, freeze, power-outage and water sensors that text your phone from the cabin — so you know in November, not April. No cameras; environmental only.

Reviews

No reviews yet. That's your advantage.

We're new, and new means hungry. Early jobs get obsessive work at honest prices while we earn our reputation one install at a time. When the reviews come in, they'll live right here — until then, our Facebook Page is where to watch the work happen.

Dead signal? Start with the $89 survey.

We come out and measure. You get an honest report with your real options — booster, Starlink, or "nothing will fix this." The $89 is credited toward an install booked within 30 days.
